The Rundown of Seoul Fashion Week FW 2016
Seoul Fashion Week FW 2016 finally wrapped up its 6-day Hera extravaganza. Despite some of the nay-sayers that mentioned it’s rocky start, we’re predicting only bright things in Seoul’s stylish future.
Hungry buyers and fashionistas alike had the chance to feast their eyes on some of Korea’s most promising designers. Some of Korea’s most prominent high fashion designers made stellar appearances we can’t stop thinking about. We’re talking oodles of Blindness, Munsoo Kwon, Push Button, and so many more. However, the real action happened off the catwalk and on the sidewalk where models had the chance to show off real and raw fashion.
Not only symmetrically stunning, this year’s selection of male models nailed street style with preppy schoolboy meets James Dean. There’s a certain je nais se quoi about the way these model-off duty styles clashed as a whole, as if they intentionally debuted a ready-to-wear collection of their own. The mass of ripped jeans and collegiate backpacks gave you the impression that these were the smartly dressed cool kids you’d bum a smoke with after school.
